Who is responsible
Store Steward is a business registered in Portugal. The person responsible for your data is Bruno Ponce de Leão. For anything about your data, write to hello@storesteward.com and you will get an answer from us.
What is collected
Only what the work needs. If you fill in the contact form or write to us, your name, email address, Store URL and whatever you write. If you buy a fix, your billing details, handled and stored by Stripe and never by us, plus your Store address and your collaborator code, which the checkout asks for so the work can start. If you grant collaborator access, the parts of your Shopify admin needed to do that fix and nothing beyond them.
What it is used for
To answer you, to do the work you asked for, to bill the subscription and to send the reports that are part of the service. Your data is never sold, rented or shared for marketing. No newsletters unless you explicitly ask for one.
Where it lives
Email and documents live with our email and storage providers; payments live with Stripe; your Store’s data stays inside Shopify, where it already is. Each of these providers has its own security and privacy commitments, and access on our side is protected and kept to what the work requires.
No tracking
This site does not use advertising trackers or sell attention. At most it keeps simple, privacy-respecting visit counts to know whether anyone is reading.
How long data is kept
Correspondence and reports are kept while you are a client and for as long as needed afterwards for legal and accounting reasons. If you write asking to be forgotten, everything that can legally be deleted is deleted. We also keep a before and after of the work itself, with your name and your Store address taken out, and that is covered by the Showing the work section of our terms.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask at any time to see, correct, export or delete the data held about you. One email to hello@storesteward.com is enough, and you will hear back the same day.
