What is wrong
Click the links on your own home page, one at a time. If a collection opens and shows no products, that link is sending buyers to a dead end.
It usually happens for one of three reasons. The collection was emptied and the link stayed behind. The products were unpublished from one of your markets. Or the collection was created and never filled.
What it costs you
An empty collection does not look broken. It looks like a working page with nothing to buy, so nobody writes in to tell you, and you keep paying to send people to it.
The ones that cost the most are the buttons you built the home page around: the seasonal collection, the sale, the shop-by-category button in your main menu. We have seen Stores where the main buy button on the home page opened an empty page, and Stores where the same empty collection was linked three separate times.
What we do
We open every link on your home page and in your main menu, and we check each collection from more than one country. Shopify publishes by market, so a collection can look full to you and empty to a buyer abroad. That one is easy to miss from the inside.
For each empty collection we find, you choose one of three fixes and we apply it: point the link at a collection that has products in it, fill the collection with the products that belong there, or take the link down.
What you get
Every empty collection we found, with the places it is linked from. The fix applied to each one. And a short note, in plain English, of what changed.
We work on a copy of your theme and publish only when you tell us to. Your current theme stays where it is.
Price and time
$45 per collection. Three working days, counted from the day we have access.
We count your empty collections from your Store address before you pay anything, so you know the number before you decide.
How you pay for this one
This is one of the fixes we have to count, so it is paid from Fix Credit. You put $295 on your Store, we count, and the exact number comes off your balance. What you do not spend stays there with no date on it.
If you do not know how many you have
The Store Check goes through your whole storefront and finds everything a buyer can trip over, not only the collections. It is $195, and that $195 lands on your balance.
