If your Store has a video, whether it is the hero on the home page or a demonstration on a product page, everything spoken in it is lost to anyone who cannot hear it.
It is also lost to the far larger group who watch with the sound off, which on a phone is most people, most of the time.
What it costs you
You paid to have that video made. If the reason to buy is spoken out loud and never written down, that reason reaches only the people who happened to have their sound on.
Search engines do not hear it either. A transcript is the only version of that video they can read.
What we do
We write the captions, timed to the video, and we check them by hand rather than shipping whatever an automatic tool produced. Product names, ingredients and measurements are exactly the words a machine gets wrong, and those are the words that matter on a Store.
We also give you a transcript to put on the page under the video, which is what makes the content searchable.
What you get
A caption file for each video, ready to upload, and the transcript as text. Placed on your Store if you want us to place it, or handed over if you would rather do it yourself.
Price and time
$145 per video, for videos up to five minutes. Five working days, counted from the day we have the files.
Longer than five minutes, we quote before starting. We do not start work and then send a bigger number.
How you pay for this one
This is one of the fixes we have to count, so it is paid from Fix Credit. You put $295 on your Store, we count, and the exact number comes off your balance. What you do not spend stays there with no date on it.
