The problem is identifiable.
Single Fix
One defined problem. One agreed result.
A Single Fix is for one identified technical problem or a small group of symptoms caused by the same issue.
Describe what is wrong and what should happen instead. We review the request to decide whether it can be handled safely as one clearly scoped correction.
If it can, you receive the scope, fixed price, expected timeframe and verification criteria before making any commitment.
The initial scope review is free. We request no access and make no changes during this review.
Six-page sample reportIs a Single Fix right for your Store?
Describe the problem you can see and the result you expect.
You do not need technical language or knowledge of the cause.
The expected result can be defined.
The work can be isolated and tested safely.
The symptoms belong to the same underlying issue.
We can set a fixed price before work begins.
The result does not depend on an uncertain change by a third party.
If the cause is unclear, several independent problems are involved or you do not know what deserves attention first, begin with the Store Check.
Problems we can usually handle
Six defined areas for one clearly scoped correction.
Responsive presentation and mobile layout
Layout, spacing, overlap, overflow and elements that appear incorrectly on desktop, tablet or mobile.
Storefront functionality
Menus, links, buttons, variant selectors, search, filters, cart behavior and other public elements that do not work as expected.
Applications and theme
Visible application residue, duplicated blocks, broken elements and identifiable conflicts between an application and the theme.
This does not include correcting the internal operation of a third-party application.
Product and collection templates
Problems involving product pages, collection pages, metafields, badges, sections and content displayed by the theme.
Defined performance problems
A specific and identifiable source of slowdown or instability.
A Single Fix does not promise a general performance improvement or a particular score.
Technical SEO and accessibility
Specific problems involving broken links, headings, metadata, structured data, keyboard use, labels, focus or contrast.
The work does not promise rankings, certification or legal compliance.
Know the scope and price before you commit
A written scope comes before access, payment or work.
The free review determines whether the request can be handled as a Single Fix and defines the proposed scope.
It does not include technical investigation, diagnosis, development or changes to your Store.
The price is based on the agreed scope, not hourly billing.
Work begins only after you approve the scope in writing and pay the fixed price in advance.
- The problem to be addressed.
- The expected result.
- What is included and excluded.
- The access that may be needed.
- How the correction will be tested.
- The fixed price.
- The expected timeframe.
- The criterion used to verify the result.
How the Single Fix works
Eight controlled steps from request to guarantee.
Send the request
Complete the form on this page with the public Store URL, affected page, problem you can see and any useful evidence.
Do not send passwords, authenticated sessions, authentication codes or collaborator codes through the form.
Receive the proposed scope
We review the information without charge.
We may confirm that the request is suitable, ask one short clarifying question, recommend the Store Check or explain why the work falls outside the service.
Approve and pay
If the request is suitable, you receive the written scope, fixed price and expected timeframe.
No work begins until you approve the scope and the advance payment is confirmed.
Authorize the required access
When Shopify access is necessary, we send a collaborator request through our Shopify Partner account.
We send it only after written approval and payment, with only the permissions required for the agreed work.
We correct and test the problem
Whenever technically possible, we complete and test the work in an unpublished copy of your theme.
We do not use the published theme as a development environment.
Review the result
You receive a preview, testing evidence and an Intervention Report.
You have five business days to verify the result against the agreed scope. Silence is never treated as approval.
Approve publication
Nothing is published without your express written permission.
You can publish the correction yourself or authorize Store Steward to publish it on an agreed date.
Live validation and guarantee
We check the result on the live Store after publication.
The seven-day guarantee begins after publication and live validation. The previous theme remains available as a reversal copy for at least 14 days.
Minimum access
Only the access required for the approved work.
We never ask for your Shopify password, an authenticated session, a two-factor authentication code or a shared account.
You provide only the permanent myshopify.com address and, when Shopify requires it, the four-digit collaborator code used to send the request.
Theme access is the normal starting point. We request products, content, metafields, applications or sales channels only when the approved scope requires them and after explaining why.
We do not request access to customers, orders, payments, billing, finances, users or other sensitive areas for the Single Fixes offered at launch.
If the work requires an additional permission, we explain why and ask for your approval before requesting it.
If another person needs to participate, Store Steward identifies them in advance and asks for your written authorization. They use their own identity and receive only the access required for their part of the work.
How the work is checked
Five controls must pass before the work is presented as complete.
The agreed result
We reproduce the original problem and repeat the same steps after the correction. The result must match the approved scope and verification criterion.
The technical change
We test the correction in the unpublished copy and check that it has not introduced a related technical problem or changed an unnecessary area.
The related journey
We test the part of the Store directly connected to the correction. Work on a variant selector also requires checking the relevant image, price, availability, addition to cart and cart behavior.
Relevant browsers and devices
The base includes current Chrome and Safari on Mac, Safari on a physical iPhone 13 and representative desktop, tablet and mobile sizes.
We add Edge on Windows when the correction is functional or may depend on the browser. Other browsers, devices or specialized services depend on the problem or approved scope.
We always identify screen simulation as simulation and never present it as a physical device test.
Evidence for your review
You receive the result, a simple explanation of the correction, the areas tested, the outcome of those tests, useful evidence, known limitations and instructions for checking the preview.
If one of these controls fails, the correction is not presented as complete and the review period does not begin.

The Intervention Report
Every Single Fix includes a documented record.
The Preview version records the agreed scope, initial condition, correction, tests, evidence, limitations and instructions for reviewing the result.
After publication, the same report is completed with the written approval, live validation, reversal copy, guarantee, next steps and access closure.
We deliver the final report as a PDF. It never contains passwords, sessions, authentication codes or collaborator codes.
Preview the Sample Intervention ReportReview, publication and reversal
You control approval and publication.
Five business days to review
You have five business days from the delivery of the preview to confirm the agreed result or report a difference from the approved scope.
The review is not an additional round of changes. New functionality, preferences and unrelated problems require their own assessment.
Silence does not approve
If we receive no response, the work remains unpublished and we place it on hold. New validation and scheduling may be required before publication.
Reversal remains available
When Store Steward publishes the correction, we check the live result immediately. A critical problem related to publication activates the reversal plan.
We preserve the theme that was published before the correction for at least 14 consecutive days.
The seven-day guarantee
Coverage begins after publication and live validation.
The guarantee covers reproducible defects directly caused by our correction and related to the agreed result and scope.
Any problem reported during the guarantee receives a limited review to determine whether it is related to the correction. The guarantee is not an additional round of changes.
If publication is delayed or the Store changes before publication, Store Steward must validate the correction again before the guarantee can begin.
We remove Shopify access after the guarantee and once the work is closed, unless another service has been approved or ongoing support has been expressly authorized.
The guarantee does not cover
- New requests.
- Independent problems.
- Later changes made by you.
- Changes made by applications or other third parties.
- Theme or Shopify updates.
- Situations outside the agreed scope.
If the work differs from the approved scope
Scope, access, price and risk never increase without written approval.
A related discovery that does not materially change the work, access or risk can remain within the original scope.
If more work, new permissions, a different timeframe or additional risk is involved, we pause the affected area. You receive a revised scope, fixed price and timeframe before deciding whether to continue.
We document and handle an independent problem separately.
Security, payments, taxes, customer data, deep checkout changes, internal application operation and other areas outside the service are not corrected as a Single Fix. Store Steward records the limitation and recommends Shopify, the application provider or another appropriate specialist.
Work that is not offered as a Single Fix
- Complete Store builds.
- Redesigns.
- Migrations.
- Custom application development.
- Complex integrations.
- Deep checkout changes.
- Payments or taxes.
- Security incidents.
- Large data imports.
- Several unrelated problems presented as one correction.
A broad or uncertain request may require a Store Check, a separately scoped project or an appropriate specialist.

Sample Intervention Report
See how a Single Fix is documented.
The sample follows the work from the agreed scope through correction, testing, preview, publication, guarantee and access closure.
It shows the evidence and explanation prepared for the client without exposing internal checklists or technical procedures.
The sample uses controlled test conditions and is not presented as a client result or proof of changes in sales, conversion or revenue.

Request a Single Fix
Describe the problem you can see. You do not need to diagnose the technical cause.
Most questions use simple choices. Written fields are limited to the information needed to understand the request.
Frequently asked questions
What to know before sending your request.
How much does a Single Fix cost?
The price depends on the agreed scope.
The initial scope review is free. If the request is suitable, you receive a fixed price before deciding whether to proceed. The price is not calculated from hourly billing.
Does the free review include diagnosis?
No. It is limited to determining whether the request is suitable and defining the proposed scope.
Technical investigation, diagnosis, development and changes begin only after written approval and payment.
Can I submit several problems in one request?
Only when they appear to be symptoms of the same issue.
Several unrelated problems require separate scopes or a Store Check.
Will you work directly on the published theme?
No. Whenever technically possible, we complete and test the correction in an unpublished copy.
If the work cannot be isolated, we agree the environment, backup, testing and reversal plan before making any change.
What happens if the scope changes?
We pause the affected work when the discovery requires more work, access, time or risk than was approved.
You receive a revised scope, fixed price and timeframe. Nothing additional begins without your written approval.
Can you help after a theme or application change?
Possibly, if the resulting problem can be isolated, corrected and tested safely.
We review the available evidence without assuming who caused the problem. If the cause remains uncertain or requires access outside the service, we recommend the next appropriate step.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
We can discuss ongoing support after an initial Store Check or Single Fix.
We agree it according to the needs identified after the first service. It is not presented as a separate plan or checkout at launch.

Describe the problem before committing to the work.
Send the observable problem, affected page and expected result. If the request is suitable, you receive a written scope and fixed price before access is requested or work begins.
The scope review is free. No work begins before written approval and advance payment.
